Bill Mallonee
Bill Mallonee (b. January 1, 1955, in Martinsville, Virginia[1]) is the songwriter and leader of Vigilantes of Love, an Americana/Alt-Country/Rock band from Athens, Georgia. Though the Vigilantes disbanded in 2001 and recently reformed in 2008, Mallonee continues writing, singing, and playing his music solo. On his Summer 2007 tour, he was joined onstage by his second wife, Muriah Rose, who plays keyboards and sings, and also announced that he has begun working with a new band called "Victory Garden". Throughout his career many of his songs focused on his Christian faith and his family. He holds a degree in history from the University of Georgia.[1]
